We are pleased to share that Viewa was recently covered in the July 2026 edition of Window Furnishing Australia (WFA) e-magazine. The feature, titled "Cost, Craft and Code," discusses our experience as a first-time exhibitor at the R+T Asia 2026 trade show in Shanghai and touches on the reception of our software in the broader international market.
Key highlights from the WFA article:
- Expanding global reach: While our customer base already spans Australia, the US, Canada, and the UK, exhibiting in Shanghai helped us understand how our software fits into Asian markets. We saw particular interest from attendees visiting from South Korea, Singapore, and Turkey.
- The value of purpose-built AI: The article notes that while general AI tools have raised baseline awareness of machine learning, they often lack industry specificity. As our founder Ed Sedgley mentioned, our platform is a purpose-built, industry-trained AI model, which helps clients understand its practical value straight away.
- Local connections abroad: The international trade show floor also served as an unexpected networking opportunity, allowing us to connect with Australian retailers and installers who were previously unaware of our locally developed software.
